Number of Foreclosed Bank and VA Homes Increased in St. Louis
The number of foreclosures in St. Louis, Missouri, jumped in 2010 compared with 2009 levels. Bank foreclosed houses, VA homes and other distressed properties totaled almost 22,000 by the end of the year, with foreclosure-related filings rising by almost 12% when compared with 2009 figures.
